Today, I learnt that A2 Media Studies coursework focuses on practical production and creativity. Students are required to research and analyze existing media products, conduct audience research, and plan their own project. The main task often involves creating a media product, such as a music video or short film, along with ancillary tasks like a poster or website. Throughout the process, students document their journey on a blog or portfolio, showcasing their research, planning, and final edits. The coursework is assessed based on creativity, technical skills, audience engagement, and critical reflection on the production process.
